Of course the EPA doesn’t care about the environment. Even though their name starts with environment. Next they will repeal evolution. Or make the Noah’s Ark thing in Kentucky a national monument. Or forbid ships from sailing too far for fear of falling off the edge of the earth.
They've been trying to "repeal" evolution for years; in their heads all those species were created by God. But there's not much money to be made in that. My guess is next on the chopping block is industrial wastewater limits and monitoring. "Common sense" will say water looks/tastes clean enough.
