Given the extremes to which this cult will go, I would expect a "narrow" SCOTUS ruling along the lines of "Dems ABSOLUTELY cannot say anything bad about our side, or we'll sue them, but WE can say anything we want about them, and they can't sue us for it. Also libel is now a death-penalty offense."

It may be ironic, but it is a sign that Dershowitz has lost his way. The young Alan Dershowitz would not be attacking a bedrock principle of First Amendment jurisprudence. He knows better. If we lose Sullivan, we might as well just surrender. Sullivan has worked flawlessly since it was decided.
