Yeah that's the vibe I get to. Very much an outsider looking in, Newsom is one of a handful of people in a position where he can and is trying to do something about Trump, and the best thing people can say about him is "meh"

Jeb Bush was leading the GOP race in 2015 and HRC was leading the Dems. race in 2007. Both were the overwhelming favorites to win their party nominations. My point: Early polls and talk is meaningless. It is pure speculation which is worth nothing.
