We all know about that one furry that told us ALL about their relationship while the other part didn't. Or the countless polarizing witch hunting fights. I don't think it's healthy for our Fandom, and sometimes it's a sign of loneliness. But if we normalize it, we are part of the problem.
How do children become adults then if not allowed to occationally stumble socially and eat shit?
It's not about letting people be cringe or face consequences, it's an echo chamber of oversharing.
Then let them echo.
Awareness is not a gift. Let people live their colourful lives as inherently valid regardless of gracefulness. Let clumbsy people trip and fall. Let the socially inept fail to find companionship. You can't teach people to avoid the pitfalls that allowed you to grow.

I think furries are cool. There are some that can be problematic, and I understand the hate for those ones. I don’t understand hate for furries who’ve done nothing but have a good time in THEIR fandom
