It's not ignorance. He is lying.
It's not ignorance. He is lying.
Always true for what is coming out of trump's admin and the GOP at large
Somehow it’s always both
Being evil is incredibly stupid, so yes.
I know this but I posted the link for those who may be buying that garbage. I like to sprinkle facts like confetti.
Thank you for your service. Here's one you can share about how trump violently raped a child in 1994... www.scribd.com/doc/31634105...
Yup
Actually evil can be very cunning. That’s how so many people can be brainwashed and misled. Never underestimate evil because that’s how the Americans find themselves where they are now.
I just mean, as a concept, it's very stupid and counter-productive, and always fails, eventually.
He only believes in technologies invested in by his political contributors
Carney is no different. Investing in carbon capture to the tune of $21.5 million to AB is just more lying. Carney is just smoother and less hateful about it. They are literally in lock step if you truly pay attention. thebulletin.org/2022/09/plag...
No more investments should be made in fossil fuels. But due to big oil billions more will go into fossil fuels... the disinformation machine rages still
The man we elected was once all for keeping the fossil fuels in the ground and looking for new, green ways to get our energy. Then the first thing he did was sit down with oil and gas executives and announced investing in carbon capture. They store carbon to use to get more oil from reservoirs.
yeah funny how that happens when you have little bitches in two provinces threatening to secede... you can whine about it, or you can lobby for better infrastructure that helps build out renewables asap... For instance, new connections between ON and PQ for hydro storage, ditto NFLD and PQ
Canada as a whole has enormous potential for pumped storage hydro, studies estimate over 8,000 GW of potential capacity across suitable sites, including in Québec.
Academic and policy analyses have shown Hydro-Québec could support up to 20 GW of effective energy storage via smart dispatch, grid tie-ins, and modest upgrades, including, new pump-turbines, expanded inter-ties, and flexible load balancing. This could begin rolling out almost immediately
Canada’s combined grid peaks around 140–150 GW, with Ontario and Quebec alone making up ~50 GW. Realistically, Hydro-Québec could run 20 GW for 2–3 full days (48–72 hours) without stressing the system, that’s ~1,000–1,500 GWh.
BUT we lack a national buildout plan, and there is no Canadian equivalent to a U.S. national transmission strategy. Without a unified grid plan, 20 GW sits isolated and unleveraged as would every other mega project.
There is no clear expansion roadmap and no prioritization by Ottawa. While Mark Carney talks green finance, the feds have not declared pumped storage and HVDC interconnection as “Tier 1 Infrastructure.” Nor have they connected this to industrial policy or national security.
I don't understand why it's always about oil and gas.
money, established investments the corporate psychopaths want to extract every last penny from
The only reason certain provinces want to work with MB is for access to deep water ports like Churchill and they want to ship their oil that way. It's always about their oil. They literally cannot think of anything else. The greed of Moe, Smith and Ford is disgusting.
carbon capture is a grift and very little more. it will never meaningfully affect the rate of anthropomorphic global warming and is solely a means to capture economic rent out of a scheme that was originally intended to incentivize reducing carbon emissions
