That was my first thought when I saw the statement
my first thought was *he* was the perpetrator of the violence, and had to explain why he was caught with a battered woman. Otherwise… why include that kind of detail? Could have just left it at “a woman seeking help” (no details about domestic violence).
100%. My take was perhaps an “escort” was in the car with him and was also injured? The detail seems completely irrelevant other than cover for something.
Then again, it’s possible he’s exploiting the privacy the label “domestic violence” typically provides. Using it as a shield, knowing the press wouldn’t push for confidential information about the victim of domestic violence. He *is* that despicable.
Ugh, didn't even think of that possibility. I figured the car wreck was the result of driving while getting a blow/hand job and that these days he has to pay for sex.
