TX has gas in the $2.00 range as of yesterday. $2.39 is the lowest I found on a quick search (we have a news outlet that posts the cheapest gas in the area, but it’s TX & highly subsidized. It’d likely be much higher if they didn’t)

No offense intended, but I'd rather pay $10.00 a gallon than live in texass, with all those perfect, conservative red hat wearing christian people, who openly shit all over the women and the constitution! I realize there are many fantastic people there, but, it seems the red hats prevail! 😞 SORRY!
I believe it’s a highly gerrymandered state. But there do seem to be a lot of fascist leaning people in it.
No offense taken 🙂 It is highly gerrymandered. Worst in the country if I remember right. My county has been gerrymandered just to keep it red, otherwise it’d be blue. They gerrymandered the educated portion of the county out to another area. Now they’re moving here bc they’re out of room for
Constructing homes north, and too much swampy protected land south. I’m enjoying watching the trumptenites freak out 😂 It’s significantly easier to tolerate if you grew up here around these idiots. I frequently remind ‘em I saw their reading comprehension grades so their 2 cents are unreliable 😬
Yup, approx $2.50 in Houston, TX.
Subsidised…! The mind boggles. We pay tax and an additional green levy.
Fossil fuels pretty much own the state 🥴 I wouldn’t be surprised if they’re legislating (or have legislated) the requirement to keep them in the loop. When you add up all the green energy the state produces it’s more than half the energy they produce. Pretty sure that scared fossil fuel people.
I’m quite sure you’re right!
