Ireland will give you a retirement Visa is you have 50k euros/year. France has a favorable long stay visa (like one year) that you can easily renew. And you can get on their health care. Need to know French but there are lots of schools and one person said you can be up to speed in about 6 mos.
My friend got an Irish passport and has looked into moving but said it is incredibly expensive and so is staying for now.

As a Canadian, I would urge you to stay and fight back. Americans have always been a resilient people and I'm sure eventually, there will be hard pushback by sane people. Unfortunately, it might have to get violent and bloody before democracy is restored.

I did fight for my country. Myself, my sister, my father and grand father all served in the Air Force. I'm 58 now, and do actively protest against this reckless coup. The country has abandoned sanity and the Constitution. I also have alternatives, and they are better than the U.S.
Well I didn't go to war but all four of my brothers did, fighting fascism and so I am willing and ready. Your choice to leave as of now. May not be that easy down the line.
