12 gauge, birdshot - wide dispersement shot pattern, should do the trick. Remember to get all the appropriate training & permits. In Canada, get your PAL/RPAL & in the US, you have 2nd Amendment & State licensing. Go get sorted before you regret it.

Sadly, I’ve considered getting my Il FOID and buying a Glock 19. Sadly.

If you do, go to your local firing range and practice with it. If necessary hire an instructor. Most of those tend conservative, so don’t talk politics. Just mumble about “home security.”

Oh yeah! There’s a range near enough to my apartment that I hear them firing some evenings. Got plans to join them if necessary.

Ever since the day we went camping and another camper sent their drone up to observe the loop (ten years and two weeks ago) this has been a concern of mine. Back then, I think it was a concern of everybody’s, but we were all told that such fear was irrational.
