I think the last two elections have shown that the moderates that Democrats have been putting up are not winning seats and that what the public wants are more progressive candidates. Look at the mayoral race in NY for example

Agreed, but Mamdani needs to win NYC and gain nationwide recognition for what his success will achieve. Meanwhile, there aren’t a lot of alternative choices out there, which is why the moderates win.
