Do you mean the movie because I flipping love the movie. (Showed it to the ten and twelve year old a few months back and with very little explanation they kinda loved it).

Actually both that AND the cat were very reminiscent of that alien eeriness that I think of as far more of a signature of Ghibli movies than any of the cuteness or whimsy that I think most people think is their trademark. A Big Thing That Looks Too Slowly And A Small Thing That's Not Quite Right.

Whoops you were replying to the other thing about Josie. But yay I LOVE that film. Was one of only about three people in my screening watching it in the cinema on release, it felt like such an accessible film to me but the world just wasn't quite able to GET it. The songs are so good, too.
