I got a two week ban on Nextdoor for explaining to someone how the Democrat and Republicans switched ideology. That was considered 'national politics' I swear....

I had to quit next door. During the pandemic some local lunatic was spreading dangerous misinformation and we corrected her. No fighting, no name calling, nothing out of line. That night, a mod posted her lies plus some even crazier stuff, then locked the topic so no one could respond. I left.

I do have some friends across the world and some elderly relatives that I am connected with on Facebook. For the most part, they agree with my stance. I post the reality of what is going on, how Project 2025 is horrific, how DOGE stole all your personal data, and it is not coming back.

I am on a mission to reply to every MAGA comment on Nextdoor. I know, I might be crazy. I am just tired of the fact that nobody pushes back on these people. Nobody calls them out for being cruel. Yes, I am likely screaming into the void, but at least I know I tried.

I just spent the last 20 minutes in that void. They cant unread my words. For the most part, on Nextdoor, I know how to say what I need to without getting into trouble. Like I said, it is a mission! I do other stuff too, it is just part of my resistance plan. 🤨
