Kennedy demands doctors get more nutrition training while 18.8 million Americans live in food deserts and insurance generally doesn’t cover dietitian visits. Classic misdirection: blame physicians for systemic failures they can’t solve. www.nbcnews.com/health/healt...

The idea that doctors would have time to talk about nutrition seems pretty silly to me. I hired a dietitian this year and the appointments were each an hour long.

My unpopular take: Most do need more nutritional training. But that isn’t the looming evil with our healthcare system.
