it's so funny i was addicted to X so hard but it's cause it was the first pokemon game I played since I was a kid (this was back in 2018 and also while I was living alone in my college town with seriously nothing to do)

I put a lot of time into Y back in the day. it was actually the first Pokemon where I started working on my living dex. I think your situation isn’t probably too dissimilar to @parmparm.bsky.social. I this was his return to Pokémon too.

Ah yeah Pokemon X was also my return to mainline Pokémon in years so it hit for me haha but I understand its shortcomings for sure. Playing Omega Ruby a year ago and it gave me a different perspective on X.
