Sigh...The wasps suddenly have a new behavior when we're eating a meatless lunch outside. They've decided I look as tasty as heck (or maybe survival rations is enough).

Can I interest you in a slightly used (like new) cat? Wasps are not pets. 😆 But good thinking on offering it meat. I had no idea they bite. I thought it was all about the stinger.

I'm sitting here and one looks longingly at my finger, gently alights on it, and immediately sinks its sharp little choppers into my finger, hoping to worry off a piece and take it to the kids. I yell "ouch" and shoo it away, and 5 minutes later, it's back and trying to chew my leg!

Needless to say, I ran and got a piece of deli turkey for it to carve up, and now all is good.
