So you'd rather the property was empty all that time? A rolling contract gives people more time to find somewhere but is a risk for the landlord toi - she could have chosen to simply not renew the contract. What's wrong with earning money? Or should people not be doing that either?
You've asked 3 completely irrelevant questions there Laurence. And, you really don't need to. You could drop the conspiracy theories, and look at a politician - of any party - and think 'no, that behaviour, *which is soon to be made illegal*, is not good, for an MP who is absolutely rolling in it'.
