Good idea, but it's not universal: not everyone is physically capable of walking, and some areas are designed to be dangerous for pedestrians.

You did say "almost anyone" and "walking" doesn't have to be done outdoors.
Ahh, touché. :) My thinking is affected by years of living in tiny apartments with barely any free space haha. (It's a big issue in Canada...)
And my thinking is affected by a lifetime habit of pacing back and forth no matter how tiny the room I'm in is. Drives my family up a wall.
