A) I’m sure that the Timber Industry is giving the Governor plenty of cutbacks, to start with. B) Plenty of opportunities for development once those acres are cleared. C) Like Deep Throat told Bob Woodward: “Follow the Money.”
IN needs to ban logging trucks from using the surrounding roads. Perhaps reduce weight limits. Might limit the practicality of doing the logging.
All that depends on Gov. Braun. Unless he is finally willing to do the people’s will, and not just Trump and Braun’s donors, he’ll just bend over backwards and deny he ever said anything bad about the project. Personally, it’s not promising that he’ll do anything at all to protect our forests. 🌳
