Just got through the final end-credit scene. I liked it a lot. They cannot pay Florence Pugh enough, she is my favorite.
We watched Thunderbolts last night, and that movie has more heart and soul than 90% of the Marvel movies. I loved it. I loved the way it handled addiction and mental health.
Like, I probably won't be eager to watch any of the other movies from Marvel if they don't have Spider-Man or (Miles Morales or Spider-Gwen) because it feels like they're limping along, but I'm sold on this group.
The 'small' acts of kindness really worked for me, where they were protecting normal people on the street because they could, because it seemed like the right thing to do.
Yes! It was a bit of a contrast to how much the city was destroyed in the first Avengers. It came off as a bit of a "greater good" vs. "save everyone!"
And as a person in the vulnerable population...I appreciate a "save everyone" moment where no one is left behind...even if they seem like a hot mess of a person.
