Narcotics are illegal
Narcotics are illegal
Off the issue but narcotics are not illegal. They are restricted though just like guns.
You can buy Sudafed but its a regulated substance because its used to cook meth. An 18yo can't just walk in and buy two AR's without an passing an FBI background check. In addition States tack on waiting periods, licenses, and other requirements. 365 rounds of ammo is just a good day at the range.
No one said anything about ammo. It makes no sense that someone with sever allergies can’t get multiple boxes of Sudafed at target but can go to Walmart and buy a gun off the shelf.
Didn't the meme mention ammunition (ammo)? Shooting 500 rounds at a range is not uncommon. if you have sever allergies I'm willing to bet your doctor can prescribe enough sudafed to treat you. You cannot waltz into Walmart or anywhere else and buy a gun of the shelf. Those days ended in the 1993.
This argument is such bullshit. The states that have 3 day waiting period background checks auto approve if not completed in 3 days. If the background check process is backlogged guess what, banned owners get approved because it’s infringing on 2a to make them wait more than three days.
You’re right you can legally produce, sell, import, and buy cocaine in a free albeit restricted market.
Not in the u.s.
And you got my point.
Sorry the logic escapes me. Try again.
You say things shouldn’t be illegal because someone might abuse it… narcotics are illegal.
Like guns. narcotics are legal but they are regulated. Their abuse is what led to the regulating them. The prime difference is owning firearms is a constitutional right, narcotics are not.
If that’s the argument you want to make fine. But NARCOTICS ARE ILLEGAL. It doesn’t matter why they are but they… and you said just because someone might abuse something doesn’t make it illegal. Narcotics are that. Your reason is shit just fave it and try something else.
Morphine, Codeine, Oxycodone, Xanax, and Valium are examples of legal narcotics. They are heavily regulated because of the risk of addiction and abuse, but they are LEGAL.
