And I suspect as a yank, I come in peace, it to be permanent.. It's been 6 months, buying habits have changed. Once buying habits change, they almost never go back.

It is hard to change habits and once done it remains hard to return. Many will not return to previous buying habits, myself for instance. But if the slide to fascism is halted and he is gone, eventually the distaste would ease. Trump has done much harm that's for sure
