Just because people attempt to claim asylum in Canada doesn't mean they're allowed to stay or will be approved! If Canada doesn't have adequate infrastructure for CANADIANS and established, permanent residents, first, there is NO MEANS to support immigration or the huge needs of asylum seekers.

The creation of adequate infrastructure for to meet the needs and demands of CANADIANS will take time to build, establish, and balance. It doesn't happen overnight; it will take at least a year or two to begin to see progress, with steps required to get there. It goes to Canadians in need first.

One doesn't buy shoes for the neighbours' kids, if one can't afford to buy shoes for one's own kids first! From October, before Trump and Carney, 🇨🇦 already announced cutbacks in immigration. Carney has confirmed this.

Yes, but for CANADIANS, first! The infrastructure is for CANADIANS and established residents, who require, deserve, and pay into having infrastructure. Once those needs are met, balanced, THEN we're able to help others who MIGHT come to Canada.
