Uneducated rural idiots consistently vote red and blame blue states for everything. Now you reap what you sow. You won’t be existing for long anyways. Go cry like the farmers, vets, latinos, arabs, gays for trump. Idiots voting against their interests. Don’t forget to blame Biden for everything.

Uneducated because the state doesn’t allocate funds and leaves them to fend for themselves. Rural areas have been lied to by Trump and republicans for years and don’t have the resources to understand it.

It’s not the governments fault to spoon feed citizens. People need to stop whining about how they didn’t know, and take some responsibility. I’m not even from the US and I know exactly who Trump and Republicans are. If people choose to be ignorant it’s their choice and they need to own it

Your last line is interesting. I tend to disagree with it because the information is more accessible than ever, with the Internet. But that same technology has spread disinformation and propaganda. If anything, rural areas like where I grew up need an intervention.

rural folks also never accept any responsibility. they wanted this, they can celebrate their hospitals closing. fema assistance disappearing. enjoy the measles. have fun foreclosing your farm as JD Vance buys it for pennies. want empathy? try voting with empathy before you beg for it.

I’m sorry you can’t have empathy in your heart for the hundreds of children, elderly, disabled and immigrants that are being harmed in rural areas just because their parents or neighbors voted for Trump. But these are real people, and we should care.

I lost my empathy when the Republicans knowingly put Trump back into power. We tried to tell y'all. We said he's going to take us into war; that taxes are gonna got up for the lower income people, and down for the rich. Willfully ignorant. We no longer embrace intelligence, and it shows.

Every part of the country has a significant number of people who vote against the Republicans. Furthermore, if you want to win elections, you want to increase that number. It may be worth thinking about whether this is the way to do that.

They constantly get funding at a level far higher than they contribute. Maybe you should admit they have agency and are responsible for their choices

Now, red STATES do contribute less than they take. But I’m talking about a community WITHIN the state, at the state level. They have agency, and again and again they have proved they can learn given the right resources

isn't that a waste of time and money? you're bailing water out of a sinking ship with a bucket instead of addressing the mountain of water coming in. red voters will vote against the interest of their own children to "own the libs". you're going against a cult lead by a criminal.

Voting 85% for trump seems like learning is not their strong suit. At that state level farms, schools and roads are heavily subsidized

you choose to live in a place that regularly votes red. it was shitty before this president. maybe just maybe, move away. it isn't gonna change. they'll gladly vote red again even as they die. they died for covid and that literally didn't change a thing. they voted for trump THREE times.

Hi 👋 a real Nebraskan here. I didn’t vote for Trump and I just can’t up and move. You do realize not everyone can just move away right? Like that is not an option for many of us? It is insanely short sighted to say shit like this.

7th generation Nebraskan checking in - I think about moving to Colorado or maybe Minnesota, but I also think maybe we should have a bunch of people move to Lincoln/Omaha and turn the state blue. 100k people total would flip NE-01 and NE-02 house seats and 2 electoral votes.

Listen, same team, but people are allowed to live places for reasons other than politics. Also, I could say that if people really cared about the vote, then blue voters should move here to flip the state. We only keep 300k to do it, and we have grants to own homes in small towns. v0v
