There's a disturbing trend - Corbyn applies here too - of ppl positioning themselves as 'allies' for simply not wanting ppl yelling "tr*nny!" at us & attacking us in the streets. Politely removing our rights is fine, if done w/ "dignity & respect". So basically labour's position.
That they are not actively dehumanising us means we have a chance to help them learn. But we don’t do that by shouting abuse for a clumsy statement or misunderstanding.. hearts and minds.
I know and it’s something that we need to guard against and get ahead of in fostering positive relationships with future leaders of parties.
