You are talking about the top of the AAU pyramid. Massachusetts produces a few dozen Div. 1 college players each year, and less than a small handful of impact D1 players. Yet there are thousands of AAU athletes here, all with parents eagerly paying top dollar. You do the math.

Massachusetts AAU programs operate more like a private basketball club than a traditional AAU team. Private clubs are designed to have the parents paying coaches (fomo) vs traditional AAU that are more selective and sponsored

I would suggest you read my first reply, it was regarding the high end AAU teams that compete in the national circuit circuit In Mass it would teams such as Mass Rivals or BABC who’s roster is d1 talented players. These kids pay nothing to compete

I would suggest you take your head out of your ass and listen to parents who have been victimized by the system. You won't have trouble finding them. Every public school system has dozens of them. You want to talk "junior hockey" next, or will you just apologize for that scam too?
