Reform UK: 5 MPs (give or take) LibDems: 70+ TheGreenParty: Same number as Reform. How does a party that could fit in an Addison Lee dominate the attention, while the other two that could fill a coach get none? I discuss that below.

Farages lot are working for their sponsors, the fossil fuel industry, and non tax paying billionaires. The lib dems and greens are working for you.
Another excellent article. Maybe all the discussion programs and news should not only set their agendas for a discussion from the MSM "What the papers say" ? Hoping @zackpolanski.bsky.social get elected as the green party leader as I think he knows how to play the game to get a lot more coverage.
Excellent post, as ever, Bear. With regards to the bus picture, I did expect more hair 🤔😉
An interesting piece, thanks. Part of this is about popular support vs. seats won though. Under PR, Reform should have about 94 MPs, LDs about 80 and Greens about 42. Our electoral system hides this truth, and it is rarely mentioned.
Bias from media class - salivating over potential violence 🤷🏾♀️ not sure why. But elsewhere, I was reminded that when Labour were in opposition, they couldn't get nose in, so if not biased media, why is such a small party as REFUK constantly platforming?
Because the media isn't controlled by viewing or reading public, it's controlled by a handful very rich right wing moguls who control not only the media but also political parties via their political donations The retired/poor/sick/disabled/low paid/middle class don't make big political donations
Basically because Reform is Farage, it's a vehicle for his ego & it's a personality cult. Without him it would collapse & he has no interest in fostering a possible successor, because like Trump, his ego won't allow it, hence the regular falling out with those in the party that don't toe his line
Another great piece, making lots of sense. Your point about ‘you are the product being sold to advertisers’ if you’re on X was similarly made to me by my father a while ago, though worded slightly differently: ‘if you’re not paying for the product, then you are the product’.
"Empty vessels make most NOISE"!
Maybe the Greens should bring back capital punishment.
No thanks
Good read. Always assumed Reforms' disproportionate coverage stems from people of similar ideological views eg Justin Webb and 80% of the media. Financial inducement of a cushy job throwing red meat to racists. Lazy journalism, wheel Farage out for controversy. Lazy groupthink.
Excellent article & instructive for this yank. Americans who have any sense at all are actually envious of this bc our traditionally hard-hitting & reformative news sources have all cowered under the current admin. US news is a wasteland currently.
It's almost as if there were some kind of... I don't know... bias?!
Perhaps a silent majority is distrustful of the main media, who are aware of their follower demographic and now write for those simple enough to continue following them?
Don't know what your partys claim to stand for, except maybe the totally uncompromising Greens, but is your House of Lords as bad as out Senate?
Interesting that now it's English parties that are being ignored in favour of Reform sucking up all the bandwidth commentators are getting ansty about it. The SNP being the third largest party at Westminster for nearly a decade and not getting media time. Crickets.
They are all greeting now but for the last decade we have been ridiculed when we pointed out this issue. Funny it was ok then as it was just the Scots getting ignored. All the same in many ways. Sad
There's a serious point to this that many Indy supporters understand. If the English (and even some Scots) actually understood what the Scottish Government under the SNP has done, they'd be asking hard questions of their English government and councils. Why can't they have nice things too?
Exactly I'd be apoplectic if I was English. Social policies we have up here are not even considered down there. How can a devolved unit do so much better with less money. I call it unit as its a fallacy that we have a real government. Imagine what could be done if we had
Some of us sassenachs look to Scotland for inspiration on many things.👍
Far from perfect up here but there's that feeling SNP at least do what they can with their limited powers. I call my other half my wee sassenach. He's Scottish but doesn't like haggis, wearing a kilt, bagpipes ...The list goes on 🤣.
And that is exactly what Westminster is terrified of.
I'm a Scot through & through, born & bred in Perth, I've lived around the world & EU My daughter in law is English & one of my son in laws is 2nd generation Hong Kong Chinese with a Glasgow accent I'm proud of all (my now grown up) kids, their spouses & my grandchildren Scotland isn't England #YES
▪️Clever use of social media to continuously push the Reform message (bankrolled by?) ▪️Bots on socials who double-down on the narrative + infiltration of ‘Good ole Blighty’ type pages on FB ▪️Mainstream media abandoning all bias-free reporting in favour of trying to gain GB News watchers ▪️GB News…
They are ignored and the Labour Party is slagged off by everyone and anyone including most of the UKs media because the UKs media is owned by the super rich who do not want to pay their fair share of Tax As for the BBC, Johnsons mates are in charge. Sadly it will be Reform next. Mark my words.
To be fair, these days not being an actual journalist seems to leave you more qualified to be an actual journalist. You’re not be told to push the agenda of whoever runs your media outlet for a start.
Clearly a media Oligach conspiracy, incorporating a corrupted BBC and compliant Murdoch influenced Government, with client propagandist "journalists".
QtipsANON. Who let this FrankenWeinie out of the Tower of London?
Most media enablers of UK banana monarchy groom population for fascism !
