I had to put on a raincoat today. It’s the first time my forearms have been covered since May. I’m surprisingly sad about this.

Me to you
Live up north you will have used your raincoat alot in the past week. It's good for the farmers and reservoirs! Wonder how much sewage will be discharged because of 'heavy' rain 🌧
That’s my fear, here in the Deep South - Kent coast. 🌧️💨
Damp fur is just the limit, though 🤷🏻♀️
Bears wear raincoats?
To keep my fur dry. 🐻
Next you’ll be telling me bears shun the woods for regular bathrooms!
It’s certainly not Bear weather. My garden is void of its usual furry & feathered kind. No foxes, birds, or squirrels ⛈️ We’ve grown used to the hot dry weather. Sadly time to cover up Bear-Autumn approaching. At least the trees are relieved, grass greener & local pond in action again! Duck weather!
Some measure life with coffee spoons, some with raincoats. We would all do well to remember how short life is, and savouring the small things eases life's fleeting summer.
I can't see my knees for the first time since May!
Me too. Getting very jumpy about the increasingly darker evenings too.
I put on a light raincoat in the morning. I changed to a proper thicker raincoat in the evening. Ah well, seasonal change…
I had to put the raincoats on my dogs this morning. First time this year probably
Apparently we’re getting another heat wave at the end of September!
I can feel my seasonal depression coming on
Me too
Yes. I've not really had time to finish grumbling about the heat!
Me too. I enjoyed feeling like I was back in my Mediterranean lands without being there. At the same time, acutely aware this is climate change in action, and the real Med I knew is burning
But it's bear-ly raining 😉
