Good morning from Felixstowe. 40mph gusts and scattered showers today - but feeling like I want to go out. Might go for a stomp by the sea, and find somewhere to duck into for mid-morning coffee and cake. Stay safe folks!

I was damp and steaming in that cafe too. But home and dry now and working on some last minute tidying up of my latest book. I shall be glad when it’s out and done and dusted. Still waiting for some copyright clearance for one verse of a John Betjeman poem. Yawn! 🥱

Everywhere is shut today! Well pretty much. I'm not usually here on a Wednesday so not Au fait with what's open midweek, and I guess with the rough weather some extra people haven't opened too. The one cafe was rammed with the fried breakfast crew. Lol.
