That's good to know and make people aware of. I haven't thought about them in years and wouldn't recognize them. However, many in the population likely are still sensitive about Westboro.

They did a ton of harm:( a bunch of professional lawyer-grifters, they mostly exploited free speech laws to go around suing people for violating their speech rights, apparently most of their business model was lawsuits.

Yeah, I think that's Grace Phelps-Roper, her and her sister Megan left the westboro baptist church in 2012. She's now 31 and her older sister Megan is 39. They left when they were 27 and 19 I think? or thereabouts.

They both do speeches and books about having left and what it was like being in an abusive church situation now. Megan did a ted talk not long ago apparently.
