I'm 64 years old. And remember the music scene perfectly well. And not in a selective way. It energised a few bands and ultimately changed nothing. While the managers laughed all the way to the bank. And tossers like Danny Baker use it to pretend they're anti-establishment. Just like Corbyn.
Strange the way J Corbyn is being described in terms of punk, I agree with that, but I don't agree his impact would have been fake or possibly short lived. With or without JC the world is waking up to the destruction of rampant capitalism doing nothing, continuing down this path is not an option.
You're suggesting that Jeremy Corbyn pretends? You can certainly agree or disagree with him but he is possibly one of the few politicians who doesn't pretend (aka break a pledge aka lie 😆).
