OK fine. But can I get a ranking based on fantasy numbers
OK fine. But can I get a ranking based on fantasy numbers
smh
Hurts at 9 is just silly.
Daniels is good but he played ONE season, this list is fuckin whack
Prescott above Love and Purdy isn’t making this list look too good.
No they did not.
The Aaron Rogers from a half dozen years ago or the one that moves like he has cement shoes (present day)?
Purdy and Aaron Rodgers are ludicrously high on that list. Disqualifyingly.
Trevor Lawrence above Bo Nix? Lol. Ok.
Daniels, Hebert and Stroud too high. Baker should be higher. Goff is a bit high too.
Rodgers too low, even after two bad seasons.
Wilson too low. This is what have you done for me lately list. I think some of these old timers may show something this season.
I’ll take Kyle Trask without any experience over Rattler.
Rodger’s way to high
Stanford to high Love to low..
Only QB in the top 10 who the Jalen Hurts led Eagles didn't whip on is Stroud.
Baker should be number 1 if we’re really being honest
Baker should at least be higher than Daniels, Goff, Stroud, and Herbert.
Only QB who rubs our face in it every time we see him in the playoffs.
only one who can as far as I can tell
Really… SB MVP Jalen Hurts in tier 2 and Dak - never won anything Prescott is there too. And BTW what is Lamar Jackson record in the playoffs? Jalen’s Tier 1. But NY gets 3 votes. That explains all. Sorry. No dispute here.
Burrow is a little high (but I can't even kill someone for thinking he should be that high), Geno and Sam are a little low, besides that this is pretty freakin' good.
But how many of these QBs are "honorable," that's the real question.
Biggest surprises for me here are Penix and JJM
@nflmemewar.bsky.social This is a shit post waiting to heppen lol
Remember, Mahomes had a lot of yards in garbage time and Hurts was pulled in the 4th taking away more stats.
lol can’t believe Herbert who is a choker, and Stroud are above Hurts lol. I wouldn’t put Goff, and JAyden Daniels was great but he’s only played one year.
I would take Tanner McKee over the right side of that page.
No way Herbert is that high. The guy has never won anything. Rogers ranking must be based on his career, not his current status.
Jaxson Dart > Kenny Pickett
Stafford.....wut?
Nix and Maye are already better than Kyler, Rodgers, Tua etc... and maybe Dak, Love, Purdy. Lots of credit going to iffy guys up there. After a few weeks can revisit.
swap hurts and herbert and im fine
I guess you have to just ignore how Mahomes actually played last season. And Burrow over Allen is bananas.
The lack of respect for Hurts at this point is pretty hilarious. Dude just wins. What else would you want from a QB?
What is the rationale putting Goff ahead of Hurts?
37-year-old Stafford over Daniels and Hurts???
Stafford was not far from eliminating the eagles 6 months ago
Okay....but he didn't. And the Rams strong defense is the only reason they were in that game
Your second argument is basically the template of Hurts not being higher “his team was great”. I think Hurts is #5 but Stafford there isn’t in the top 6 of bad picks of this list. And as much as I love Daniels he played one season and got stomped by the same eagles: he is not top 5 (yet)
Does the regular season L and the fact they lost to a team the Eagles also beat twice (Packers) factor into your logic at all?
I’m not saying Stafford > Hurts, as you can see from my further reply that I think hurts should be 5. Putting Stafford there doesn’t seem like a huge problem to me and the reason I think they put him there is what I said: he was the only one close to beating the eagles in the playoffs
Fair enough.
Tua is the new Dalton line.
The crowning of Daniels after a single season has a chance to age so poorly. Did we already forget the hype trains for Loge and Stroud last year?
We've seen a one hit wonder at QB many times.
Sure, the executives will know more than any nfl analytics experts. Don't bother giving anyone who evaluates players for a living a vote. I know coaches evaluate players too but their knowledge of all 32 teams beyond their own is also likely less than most professional analysts.
No one GAF what a fired GMs ranking is about anything
Weird to include McCarthy as a “veteran”
It's the athletic, we can't expect them to actually know anything but the test if Jokic's butthole
Taste of*
I thought it was strange that they had Cousins ranked thinking it was projected starters, now I’m more perplexed that McCarthy is ranked but not Penix?
Penix is ranked both in the article and the graphic
I looked 4 times and missed him🤦🏻♂️
Lol. Happens to the best of us.
Does not help that they rank him lower then his back up, which is interesting.
Cam Ward isn’t even on here smh
Daniels should be above stafford.
Hurts has played two perfect Super Bowl games and is somehow 9th as the reigning champ
Absolutely insane, but as much as it pisses me off, I’m also kind of okay with these dumb fucks keeping that chip on Jalen’s shoulder. Not that he needs it, but I do think that mentality is a part of his success
Hurts not getting the respect he deserves is ridiculous. Also Mahomes and Allen need to be swapped.
Football is a team sport. This is an individual ranking.
Shuddup
Playoff records and playoff QB rating... Jalen Hurts: 6-3, 95.4 Joe Burrow: 5-2, 93.8 Lamar Jackson: 3-5, 84.6 Justin Herbert: 0-2, 60.3 Jared Goff: 4-5, 85.1
Herbert threw 4 picks in his last playoff game. Choker
You forgot Mahomes stats for the playoffs.
I'm not arguing Hurts should be ahead of Mahomes (or Allen) so omitted them
Pretty much. Green = the best, lime = very good, yellow = mid, light orange = needs work, dark orange = the Browns crapped out again
well, some of the "veteran QB"s on this list haven't played a single regular season snap, so you're doing a great job over there guys
They got it wrong by doing it in the first place. I don't get the purpose. To bring ridicule on some and inflate the ego even more of others. Will it be used for pricing quarterbacks. Football fans know Any Given Sunday the worst quarterback can beat the best. Or was it just something to do
Who are the guys voting to put Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson in Tier 2? What is their grading system?
Burrow over Allen?
Burrow with 50 tier 1 votes. Allen with 47 tier 1 votes and 3 tier 2 votes.
Yes, that is how they were placed in this order.
Allen hasn't been able to get his team over the hump to beat the Chiefs and win the AFC Championship. Burrow has. It's probably that simply in those 3 voters eyes.
You’re probably right, but by that same logic shouldn’t Burrow be dinged for failing to get his team in the playoffs last year?
The Bengals had an absolutely brutal year but Joe never gave up. Simply needed the Chiefs to not wave the white flag to the Broncos in the last week of the season to make the postseason. Chiefs didn't want any part of Joe and the Bengals, so it didn't happen.
If Allen gets to the SB this year, there is no way anyone is voting him as a 2 tier QB next year. I don't agree with those 3 votes btw. The guy is a baller.
Yeah, and I actually really like Joe. Anything is better than here in Pittsburgh where we have RFK Jr Jr lining up under center.
😆 we had our version for 9 years in the Bay and Vegas. At least RFKJJ isn't a preacher.
LOL yeah, but that’s just because of the ayahuasca lol
Yea because he’s better
I like Burrow, but it doesn’t pass the eye test for me. If my team is down 6 late in the 4th, no way I’d rather have Burrow than Allen. But to each their own.
More people need to be brave enough to say Matt Stafford is going over the cliff this year
There’s dumb and then there’s this list. Complete rage bait
I didn't know Jayden Daniels, Bo Nix, Drake Maye and Caleb Williams were veteran QBs
They aren't rookies.
Stafford is not tier one
I’m less mad about Stafford being that high than I am about Daniels, Goff, Herbert. At least Stafford has won shit
Yeah, it’s only the most knowledgeable people in the entire league ranking these 🙄 Haters gonna hate, especially the ones who haven’t won a Super Bowl since “Whoomp, There It Is” ruled the airwaves.
Damn somebody sensitive and all up in their feels. Didn’t even say he wasn’t the fifth best QB. He’s not the same as 1-4. Not even all that close.
Yeah, guy balls out against Minnesota in the playoffs while his family has to leave their home bc of fires, then on a short week, travels across the county and posts a 100 QB rating on the #1 Defense in a blizzard. Also, outplayed Lamar the only time he faced him and out dueled Allen last year.
But I guess rando Niners fan knows more than all those NFL GMs who put him in top-5.
Most GMs aren't even good at their jobs.
Execs, GM's and coaches don't exactly have a strong track record in identifying good QB's until one actually lands in their lap and actually plays well for them.
Oh, please.
That Lawrence contract is looking like a great value since he can't even be above average.
Seems like 15 - 19 should have their own tier. The rest in that group seem to be a step below.
Hell NO.
Aaron Rodgers above Nix might actually be worse than not having Hurts top 5 lol
Hurts isn’t close to five
Jfc I just saw who was at 5
My thoughts exactly. Too old right?
Apparently not: www.statmuse.com/nfl/ask/nfl-...
How is Stafford above Hurts?!? #eagles fans, do you agree?
