When you include the tariffs, Americans are paying more in taxes than at any point in US history. It’s King Trump and his court unfairly taxing us like King George in the 1700’s.

Except King George III was a constitutional monarch with very little power. Parliament taxed the colonies for the upkeep of military protection. (You probably do not know that the import tax on East India Co. tea was reduced which upset smugglers in Boston).
