@smerconish.bsky.social .. I think you need to rely more on streaming news than msm bc the Washington post the NYT.. have had to soften their tones and even distort information on Trump! Maybe start reading your news from well known journalists who have gone independent and not afraid of Trump!

Legacy media is dead. The bias and lies are beyond anything they can recover from. Trump won that war in authoritarian playbook without a wimper from mainstream media.

Legacy media needs to die. It will never recover from the propaganda machine it has become.

When asked by Goldberg if the journalism values of traditional media are transferable to the digital platforms she’s familiar with, Swisher said they “absolutely” could, adding that the issue lies in “understanding the product you’re making.”

"The other thing is, the idea that young people only want tiny little silly things is not true. They watch substantively, but it just depends on where they're watching," said Swisher. "If you aren't hurtling towards YouTube right now, you're making an enormous mistake as a media company."

Very true. I watch all my podcasts and news shows through YouTube. All of them. I rarely go directly to individual websites. YouTube is like Amazon for information. If you're not there, you're going to be left behind.

People have turned away from mainstream media in their droves because they have finally realised that they have been lied to for decades. The independent media has become the go-to source now because people want the truth, not more lies.

MAGA followers listen to lies from "independent" media as truth all day long.

They also need to speak the truth. Especially when it is uncomfortable and dangerous
