👀Anyone out there looking to start gardening I'd highly recommend Green Beans & Lacinato Kale They both start producing stuff you can eat within 2 months and just keep producing after that. Don't take up much room either. Also they're robust as FUCK, i.e. hard to kill.

This is so true. Green beans were one of the the only things I could get growing in my garden until I realized that plants need plant food 😂 The other thing I could get to grow were peas!

Yeah! If you plant early enough, you can get two harvests in the season since they grow quickly 😆
I got my seeds from Seed Savers Bountiful Bean and Lacinato Kale if anyone is wondering, but they've been the most stress free and rewarding things I've grown all season lmao. Give the most back for the least work. It's best to treat your kale every so often with a baking soda spray tho (google it)
OH I FORGOT TO MENTION BUT IN LESS THAN 2 MONTHS I COULD FILL UP A WHOLE GLASS JAR WITH GREEN BEANS. If you plant like 6 plants, you'll be harvesting volume like that like, every 2 weeks about.

TLDR; grow what will be successful and thrive where you live! Not necessarily just only what you want! Yes you may be able to grow some of that too and it's worth trying! But it may not produce much and you don't want to have only losses :^c It's good to have some things that are assured.
