Wow! It’s a good thing eggs are down in price to about a dollar each, cuz we’ll be eating one for breakfast, one for lunch and one for dinner for the foreseeable future since we can’t afford any other GD thing in this economy 🤬🤬

Stock up on shelf stable food while you can. I'm buying a couple extra things every time I go shopping.
Bulk foods too for beans, rice...stuff like that.
Need to get a BJ's or Costco club account.

My dogs get the precious eggs. I get the RiceARoni. 💙
Didn’t you see it coming?? The rest of the world did.
Interesting how some grocery stores are trying to handle it. One example: I love buying loaves of fresh French bread that were always on sale for a dollar up by the register. I went to grab a loaf yesterday and it's still a dollar but the loaf is half the size it used to be.
Lots of beans and rice dishes here. Im making a big batch of black beans to use for the next few days. Lentils too.
Rice and soy beans is cheaper and more nutritious.

Not only that, but there will be no strawberries, tomatoes, or any other produce that required migrant workers to pick it.
But eggs used to be about a dollar a dozen not that long ago.
We pay about $2 for 6 in the UK.
$13 for 18 eggs.
We run a small farm- try going to a farmers market the last hour its open. Be honest about struggling to afford food and most farmers will lower the price. We do it all the time. I've often gifted elderly and children, no charge.
I know. I've been hitting the grocery store early for discounted meat that hasn't changed to a strange color. This week I found a vein of 3.88 per pound packs hamburger that I've stashed in the freezer. I felt like I won the lottery. :)
I do the same.
Time to take to the streets and stop the Trump Takeover 💪💪💪💙💙
We'll be carving the Christmas Corn Dog this year...
