What an amazing Test Match. But is it unfair to ask why Harry Brook played that daft shot yesterday? Though I suppose it was only his other daft shots that got us into a winning position…

Yep I agree. I guess it's the way he plays, it just didn't pay off this time. How amazing was Chris Woakes coming out like that too, 110% commitment. I hope you're enjoying your holiday. Are the family there with you yet?

Boycott would not approve of Harry Brook’s approach to batting which is probably why I love to watch him bat (Harry, not Boycott)

Yes it is unfair. He scores loads of runs with that shot. People want it all ways. Be thrilling. Take the initiative. BUT DON'T GET OUT or we'll blame you for it.

Yes, fair enough. It was extremely unlikely that we would win until he and Root made it possible.

If players on both teams were able to catch, then the match would have been over yesterday. Don't know what the result would have been mind

Irresponsible play from both Brook and Root. Leaving a weakened tail exposed

If anything or anyone is to blame, dropped catches do not win you test matches. It has been an amazing series overall, though....

He was trying to hit a six straight at me (over extra cover) but forgot to hold onto the bat

The daftest shot was Bethell’s. Him getting out was the moment it turned back in India’s favour

I don't think you can blame the loss on that one shot. Others didn't pull their weight and remember the other twists - e.g. Brook dropped by Siraj on 19. I just think the whole series was a testament as to why Test cricket is the best cricket!
