My son starts first grade today. “Time goes by too fast” is simultaneously the most trite and the most true thing
My son starts first grade today. “Time goes by too fast” is simultaneously the most trite and the most true thing
Mine is a senior in high school 😭 He was JUST a little baby starting kindergarten! Went too fast
And just like that you’ll be walking them to graduation thinking “my mind feels just the same as that first day of school, but damn this old aching body” 😆
When my youngest went to kindergarten (I walked her there)- I walked home crying.
I did not know what the term ‘blink of an eye “ meant until I had my son, yesterday he was a sweet little 4yr old boy hugging my leg while I made him a snack and today he is a 20 year old musician who has a heart of gold and brings me so much joy . I have no idea where those “blinks” went ….🥹
I hope he has an amazing experience of normality! 🙏
Condolences
My daughter is now a High School Senior - where did the time go?
Don’t worry. Once he embraces the Mets time will slow down, become a flat circle, and be excruciating for him like the rest of us.
Sadly, and you won't want to hear this, but you are losing the cherub who thinks you are a god. This is a year of great change for both of you.
I’ve found time speeds up every year.
I feel you
Before you realize it, you're going to their High School graduation. Enjoy every moment...
Wait until he leaves home. Then it really hits. 😢
Wait until he is middle aged and balding to say that!
I'm 57 and the quote, "The days are long, but the years are short." is really hitting home lately.
💙🙏 Enjoy this precious time! I raised my grandson so I completely understand. He's 28 now in the military so I'm concerned everyday.. Please pray for all our military🙏🙏
