I've been tempted by one of those lil' power supplies , but I want to know what a reasonable brand name and price is for one — I see noname ones for $100 and wonder if that's even reasonable.

The one in the video was actually sent to me by that company. But I have both really expensive lab grade ones, and cheap ones. Ultimately, I'd buy a cheap one and if you use it enough to break it, you'll know how useful it was or wasn't for you so you know whether to buy an expensive one.

I do happen to have an inexpensive bench supply that I use for building 12v experiments and it perfectly fits what I needed it to do ,I was just intrigued by the teeny tiny form factor and DC input.
