Worldwide that is more believable, but it feels high based on my experience. I do live in the very conservative Midwest, and it is definitely not 1% here. Thanks for the info.

All that means is that people are hiding, in fear of their lives. Doesn’t we they don’t exist.

My family was in a restaurant the other day. Two of my kids are trans. There was a trans woman (t-pride tattoo) at the table next to us. The restaurant held about 200 people. As we left some queer looking young adults came in. Odds are some of them fall under the umbrella. Those stats match that.

A lot of us live in safe states. Personally live in WA where a LOT of trans folks live. Not to mention not all of us are out and proud, some live closeted and go stealth. You're also far less likely to see us in trans hostile states if we can help it.
