Walked by their embassy on a trip recently (by accident)— it’s barricaded like crazy 🤣 I guess they think they’re not popular.

Ugliest embassy in Ottawa. There should have been some effort to build something that fit in with the history of the area.

Super ugly! I thought it was a utilities administration building or something until my daughter pointed out the fact that it was the US Embassy.🤣

And further to that it occurs to me that it’s quite disrespectful to have such an ugly building as your presence in your number one customers’ country. Sometimes I wonder if their display of such disrespect on so many levels towards Canada is due to some deep seated or historical resentment or envy.

#2/ But this time is different. tRump is playing for keeps. In a purely selfish & land grabbing way exactly like Putin is doing to the rest of Europe. 🇨🇦 is the front lines like Ukraine is. There has to be more of a protest in front the Embassy.

2 my own set of thoughts in regarding the other replies: Has it always being barricaded like crazy? Or just until recently? Me thinks they got the paranoid orders from the top down. & after The strong🇨🇦 backlash, they'd thought they'd B warmly received. It's not the 1st time 🇺🇸 had delusional thghts
