As I planned for my brain tumor eviction, I got support group ready. Had an angel friend come keep my grass down. Split a month's supply of kitty litter into sizes my wife could handle. Did everything before surgery. It was the hardest battle of my life. It's still a battle. You got this!
Thanks for sharing! That’s where I’m at now too, trying to anticipate my needs after the surgery. My mom is going to come stay with me, but she’s 79 and doesn’t drive so there are a lot of logistics that I also need to set up. It’s a lot, but I need to keep swimming! 🐠
I was not able to pick up more than 5lbs for 6 weeks. Bought a walker. I'm pulling for you!💓
Thank you! And yes,, I will be on both lifting and driving restrictions for about six weeks. I was able to borrow a walker from a friend as well as a shower chair. I’ve been very fortunate that my tribe has really rallied around me and helped furnish me with things that I will possibly need!
