I’d rather find relocation services than fund rural hospitals. A one-time expense, and then we can put the resources being pumped into rural hospitals into hospitals in cities that serve far more people and also do important research.

Well, I’m arguing that you would actually cause more people to suffer and die by continuing to pour money into small, rural hospitals that serve relatively few people instead of using that money to help way more people in cities.
