Oh No| Will someone think of the flights!?
I'm thinking that if you're an airline CEO, after your customers, air traffic controllers are the very LAST people you want to be pissing off.
Tbf, O'Leary is just a gobshite.
Running a gobshite airline.
Should have negotiated a better deal.
Guess they need Trump to negotiate for them, eh?
They would be negotiated to the unemployment line with that word salad and chief
I didn't realise that Ursula was a fully qualified air traffic controller who could jump in to save France airspace. O'Leary can be such a twat sometimes!
I think he is forgetting most of Europe is not an Island and we have other ways of going around... He might be a rock superstar in Ireland and UK, but he is not on the Continent.
Probably should pay them a living wage then.
Air traffic controllers are well paid, don't worry. The issues are not the salary.
If it’s hours and safety, than they should most definitely listen to them.
Exactly. It's apparently lack of personnel, which I assume means that they have to work too much, and outdated equipment, which I don't know what it means really, but likely has safety implications.
More expensive than paying and supporting their workers, I wager. Which is kind of the point.
Nothing new there then. Fuckers are always on strike for some shit or other
Oh, Ryanair, of course, famous for upholding good working conditions and paying its pilots. Gimme a break.
Here's a thought for the airlines. Band together, train an ATC group, and send them in anytime there's a strike. The way Pinkerton's used to. You won't. Why? You are too cheap to even hand out peanuts.
"Send them in .." to where? Are they going to build a new ATC centre?
Since it's sarcasm, I really don't care. And yes, that's possible. A mobile system could be created. Or an alternate site. But France's laws wouldn't permit it.
“ @vonderleyen.ec.europa.eu , being the useless politician that she is, ..sit in her office in Brussels, pontificating about Palestine or U.S. trade agreements or anything else. Anything but take any effective action to protect the flights of holidaymakers,” O’Leary said” Holidays over #Gaza Dick.
That’s sort of the idea
😂😂😂This is what American s need to do with most all the big corporations. Can’t be oligarchs if no one is buying your products…..
The workers hold the power. I wish that in this country that was a realization.
They strike at this time every year..I'd have thought you'd have built this in to your costs at this point
He would as his mouth precedes him.
