The US and the EU have finally firmed up a trade deal that sets a 15 percent baseline US tariff. Now, a more awkward task will be for Brussels to show the world it didn’t break the very rules of international trade that it helped to craft.

I hope in the end we buy fewer American products and try to diversify into more democratic and like-minded countries. The US should be avoided until they ditch the emperor and the Trump party. It's hard, though.
We didn't elect this monster. Maybe help us get rid of him and his regime. Thanks
Well, the voting majority did. Unfortunately.
The EU is utterly supine to Trump A vassal state
Toddler-brained Trump can change his mind tomorrow and it’s all in the trash. Stop normalizing that sick creature.
Tariffs are paid for by the American people. And the EU makes its own stuff, grows its own food, and doesn't need US products. And all the promises for purchases and investment are non-binding. While inconvenienced by Trump, the EU is largely indifferent. They'll just move on to other markets.
Very true. Our reputation as a rule based trading partner, compared to others, is of huge economic and political value. Giving that away in a panick-deal with Trump could have enormous repercussions.
