Honestly if the supreme court keeps treating Trump like he isn't actively displaying their rulings, we would be in a better place.
The president, whoever they may be, should not be able to circumvent the Constitution via an executive order. The president can disagree with laws passed by Congress and issue an EO but NOT the Constitution. We need to remember as well, EO’s do not carry the weight of law, they are suggestions.

I wouldn't be shocked if they overturn precedent and say people whose parents are in the USA illegally, aren't citizens themselves (see US v. Wong Kim Ark 1898 case), or are visiting on tourist visas don't get birthright citizenship. But it should be 9-0 saying birthright citizenship is law.
I wonder how much it will cost tax payers to find every child of a ‘legal’ parent, and do what with them? Fine them a citizenship fee? Will there be a debtors prison for everyone who cannot pay? This shit is dark af.
It would have to be something that has a start date sometime in the future like Jan 1, 2026. It would also require parents to provide proof of their citizenship to get a birth certificate or to have the birth at a hospital. Overall it will be a cluster fuck of moronicy propagated by xenophobia.

Birthright citizenship is a plain right declared in the Constitution. The Supreme Court can't change the Constitution so easily. No one can. The change would have to get 2/3 of states to approve it first, then go through Congress to the president, when his signature would make it law. Won't happen

Trump has no authority for any of the executive orders he has written. They know that. They were written in order to keep the courts busy & people distracted so that they can’t focus on the things Trump is actually doing, like aligning the U.S. with our enemies & reaping personal rewards for it.

The Supreme Court is taking too many of the felon's cases. They need to let the lower courts rulings stand.
This should be a 9-0 ruling saying birthright citizenship correct and is the definition of 14A. However, I have a bad feeling that the conservatives on SCOTUS are going to use this as a way to whittle away at birthright citizenship like the did for decades with Roe.
Trump rewriting the Constitution and what words mean. No different from George Orwell in the novel, 1984, called Newspeak. Trump's saying persons born here now a divisible class, and not as the Founding Fathers and courts long intended. If you don't like it, pass an amendment, don't lie about it.
