I tried to make a living as an artist once. Won awards, got press, did exhibits, etc. Could not make a living at it though. Some of my work got rejected at galleries because they couldn’t categorize it. No joke. It sucks being ahead of your time and also living among cave people. Really sucks!

Thanks I was making digital art from photographs before AI. Nobody liked it back then.
Tell me about it... only 10% of artists... visual and performing ... make their entire income from their art... the rest of us have day jobs... then they retire... continuing to make art b.c they're driven....
