The division that individuals, who might agree on 85% of issues, can cause a schism so vast because some stances are now considered binary. Us being separated into warring tribes, suspicious of others, isn't by accident. The US is good at handling those tribes that choose to get uppity.

Another example of history repeating!!! My late brother in law served in Vietnam and then served in the National Guard afterward. I was always so proud to see him in uniform. I know he's turning in his grave with today's shit! I would not be surprised if some are being made to work at Mar-a-lago!

I was in the Guard long ago my main memories are of going in after tornadoes and storms and how happy people were to see us. The government is just destroying the Guard. Makes me so damn sad and angry.
