Yes absolutely. Dementia does not cause racism. Like mental illness does not either. They allow it to be expressed more easily. Trump always felt justified in his racism. Think of Central Park 5.

Disinhibitors like alcohol, drugs and mental decline don't make people without that word or other slurs in their vocabulary suddenly start using slurs. Disinhibitors just grease the skids so the slurs just slide right out.
