I love Alaska, lived there for years. Alaska has a lot of very valuable resources, much like Texas. Both should be very wealthy states. Both are very Republican. So, why do both Alaska & Texas receive so much money from the federal government? Sometimes you just have to cut free your losses.

Texas politics has long been shaped by powerful elites (Bushs)with deep class divides, racism, and scapegoating. Wealthy Texans (oil) resist giving up their advantages, but Alaska’s strategic location, rare earth resources, and new gas port may shift future dynamics. I think change is in the air.

Reported by Reuters, Newsweek, and The Telegraph etc.—could be Russian propaganda, or part of Trump’s plan to get as wealthy as Putin. I do not trust either side. I also do not think Trump would include Alaska in talks.

I'm certainly willing to believe that Trump has or is talking about such deals in his one-on-one talks and phone calls with Putin, without any interpreters or officials present. But it appears that nothing has come of this yet.

I find that English (non-gossip) and Italian media bow less to governments, so you get more info. For example, British reporting on Epstein—names and details—is far more revealing than in North America. Even Prince Andrew’s bibliography was edited before publication here.
