This is totally reasonable, but I do think the rates of active distrust are concerning! That seems different than just being disengaged.

For sure. I just wonder what the base case is, or if such a thing can be spoken of. Also, uh, speaking from personal experience with some near-teens of my close acquaintance, it wouldn’t entirely surprise me if disengagement showed up in polls as distrust or even disgust. 😅
